The former Polish MEP & chairman of the European Conservatives & Reformists Group and former secretary of State will lead the firm’s activities in Brussels & Warsaw

European political and public affairs firm Prism Group welcomes Michael Kaminski, the former Chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists group and member of European Parliament as Vice President. In this capacity, Michael will lead client activities at the European Union level and the broader Central European region. The addition expands Prism Group’s reach to include offices in Prague, Warsaw, Berlin, Brussels, and Washington.

Between 2007 and 2009, Michal was the Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. In 2004, Michal was nominated to be a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in Brussels and was the first elected Polish MEP to speak during the plenary session, and the first Pole to become leader of a political group. As a MEP he was a member of the Committees on Development and Petitions, while on the Delegations for relations with Mercosur countries, and the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly. Michał is the recipient of several awards and medals including the Cross of Merit of the Lithuania, Portugal, Hungary, and Ukraine.
